Job Description - Customer Service Specialist

American Financial Group is seeking a dedicated and driven Customer Service Specialist to join our team in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ. This is a part-time entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. 2. Provide information about products and services, and assist customers with placing orders or resolving issues. 3. Handle customer complaints and ensure that they are resolved to the customer's satisfaction. 4. Maintain accurate customer records and update information in the company database. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service delivery. 6. Use emotional intelligence and negotiation skills to diffuse difficult situations and find mutually beneficial solutions. 7. Contribute to the overall success of the team by meeting individual and team performance targets.


Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Excellent emotional intelligence and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. - Must be driven and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.
