Job Description:
Macy’s is currently seeking a hardworking and resilient Customer Support Assistant to join our team in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. As an Associate level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a customer service or support role.
Responsibilities: - Providing exceptional customer support via phone, email, and chat - Resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner - Managing customer accounts and ensuring all information is up-to-date - Handling returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies - Collaborating with other departments to address customer concerns and feedback - Assisting with order processing and tracking shipments - Utilizing persuasion skills to upsell products and services to customers - Managing difficult customer interactions with grace and professionalism - Contributing to team goals and initiatives to improve customer satisfaction - Upholding Macy’s commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices
Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in customer service or support - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Persuasion and people management skills - High School diploma or equivalent
