Job Description - Customer Support Manager

Job Description:


PG&E Corp. is seeking a part-time Customer Support Manager to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in customer support and demonstrate resilience and resourcefulness. This role requires excellent people management skills and creativity to drive customer satisfaction and team success.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of customer support representatives to ensure exceptional service delivery. 2. Develop and implement customer support strategies and initiatives to improve overall customer experience. 3. Monitor and analyze customer feedback and data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. 4. Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance. 5. Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints effectively and with empathy. 6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve processes. 7. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in customer support.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field. 2. Proven experience in a customer support management role. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. 5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 6. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. 7. Resilient and resourceful personality traits. 8. People management and creativity soft skills.
