Job Description - Customer Support Officer

Job Description:


As a Customer Support Officer at Domtar in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring their satisfaction. This part-time position at associate level requires at least 3 years of experience in a customer service role. We are looking for a candidate who is energetic and adaptable, with strong planning and analysis skills.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner. 2. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently. 3. Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve processes. 4. Maintain good relationships with customers and provide ongoing support. 5. Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products or services. 6. Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify trends and improve service levels. 7. Keep accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions.


Requirements: 1. 3+ years of experience in a customer service role. 2. Energetic and adaptable personality. 3. Strong planning and analysis skills. 4. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. 5. Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively. 6. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required.
