Live Chat Associate

Job Description:

As a Live Chat Associate at Huntington Ingalls Industries in Nelson, NZ, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and support through live chat interactions with our clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and will work closely with our sales and customer service teams to resolve inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner. This position is part-time and at the Associate level, requiring a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers through live chat to provide product information, answer inquiries, and resolve issues - Handle customer complaints and ensure they are resolved to the satisfaction of the customer - Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address complex or escalated customer issues - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Continuously improve knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers - Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products or services to customers

Requirements: - 4+ years of experience in a customer service or sales role - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Hardworking and passionate about providing exceptional customer service - Ability to research and present information effectively - Proficiency in using chat software and other customer service tools - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
