Job Description:
TravelCenters of America is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Live Chat Associate to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As a Live Chat Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with inquiries, processing orders, resolving complaints, and providing general support through our online chat platform. This is a part-time position at the Associate level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities: - Engage with customers through live chat to provide product information, answer questions, and assist with any issues they may have - Process orders and payments accurately and efficiently - Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions in a timely manner - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills - Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless customer service experience - Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions - Continuously improve knowledge of products and services to better assist customers
Requirements: - Adaptable and motivated individual with a customer-centric mindset - Strong communication skills and ability to analyze customer needs effectively - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in using live chat platforms and other customer service software - Experience in a customer service role, preferably in a live chat or online support capacity - High school diploma or equivalent
