Job Description - Live Chat Manager - Work from home

As the Live Chat Manager at J.C. Penney, you will be responsible for managing the live chat platform and ensuring exceptional customer service through timely and accurate responses. This position is a part-time role with an associate level of seniority, requiring a minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or a related field.


Responsibilities: - Oversee and monitor the live chat platform to ensure prompt and accurate responses to customer queries and concerns - Train and coach live chat agents on best practices for customer service and product knowledge - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales through the live chat channel - Analyze chat data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement - Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels - Handle escalated customer issues and provide solutions in a timely and professional manner - Maintain a positive and productive work environment for the live chat team


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficiency in live chat software and customer relationship management systems - Strong leadership and people management skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Reliable and resourceful problem solver - Persuasive and able to influence others positively
