Job Description - Live Chat Specialist

Job Description:


Group 1 Automotive is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Live Chat Specialist to join our team in Christchurch, NZ on a part-time basis. As an entry-level position, the Live Chat Specialist will be responsible for engaging with customers online through live chat platforms to provide assistance, answer inquiries, and offer support regarding our products and services.


Responsibilities: - Respond promptly to customer inquiries via live chat in a professional and friendly manner - Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and availability - Assist customers with placing orders, processing payments, and resolving any issues or concerns - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a consistent and cohesive customer experience - Monitor and track customer interactions to identify trends, concerns, and opportunities for improvement - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate and timely information to customers


Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales role preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities - People management skills to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy - Proficiency in using live chat software and other customer service tools - Basic knowledge of automotive industry products and services is a plus
