Online Chat Support Officer

Job description:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Online Chat Support Officer to join our team at Dollar Tree in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As an Online Chat Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance through online chat in a timely and professional manner. 2. Resolve customer issues and concerns effectively and efficiently, aiming to exceed customer expectations. 3. Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and provide accurate information. 4. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with their inquiries. 5. Document customer interactions and feedback to improve service quality. 6. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing customer satisfaction. 7. Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of customer information.

Requirements: 1. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to express empathy and understanding towards customers. 2. Excellent time management and multitasking abilities to handle multiple chat conversations simultaneously. 3. Independent and adaptable, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 4. Cooperation and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments. 5. High school diploma or equivalent. 6. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using online chat platforms. 7. Previous experience in customer service or online chat support is a plus but not required.
