Job Description - Online Contact Center Assistant

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Online Contact Center Assistant to join our team at Western Union in Nelson, NZ. As an Associate Level employee, you will have at least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of adaptability and independence, as well as strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries via email, chat, and phone in a timely and professional manner - Assist customers with online transactions, account inquiries, and technical issues - Provide accurate information about Western Union services and products - Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues as needed - Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions - Collaborate with team members to improve processes and customer satisfaction - Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and products


Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in customer service or a related field - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - High emotional intelligence and ability to empathize with customers - Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications - Knowledge of Western Union services and products is a plus
