Job Description - Online Customer Service Officer

AskNicely is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Online Customer Service Officer to join our dynamic team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level role, the Online Customer Service Officer will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service to our online customers.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner through various communication channels such as email, chat, and social media. 2. Provide accurate information about products, services, and promotions to customers. 3. Assist customers with order processing, returns, refunds, and exchanges. 4. Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and facilitate resolutions. 5. Maintain customer records and update customer information in the database. 6. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancing the overall customer experience.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. 3. Hardworking and adaptable personality traits. 4. Proficient in using customer service software and Microsoft Office suite. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Soft skills in adaptability and persuasion. 7. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online customer service best practices.
