Job Description - Online Customer Support Assistant

Job Description:


Gap is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Online Customer Support Assistant to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This is a part-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various online channels, including email, chat, and social media platforms. 2. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving customer issues and complaints. 3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately. 4. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide customers with accurate information about our products and services. 5. Work closely with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to ensure a seamless customer experience. 6. Assist in developing and implementing customer support strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. 7. Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.


Requirements: 1. Hardworking and resilient personality traits. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Strong planning and organization skills. 4. Ability to persuade and influence customers effectively. 5. Proficiency in using online customer support tools and software. 6. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online shopping processes.
