Job Description - Online Customer Support Officer

Job Description:


We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Online Customer Support Officer to join our team at Tesoro in Napier, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. As an Associate Level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in customer support and a passion for delivering excellent service to our online customers.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns via email, live chat, and social media platforms in a timely and professional manner. 2. Assist customers with order placement, product inquiries, and issue resolution. 3. Monitor online reviews and feedback to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements. 4. Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Stay up to date on product knowledge and company policies to better assist customers. 7. Identify opportunities for upselling products and services to customers.


Requirements: 1. Independent and confident personality traits to work effectively in a remote environment. 2. Strong critical thinking skills to quickly assess and address customer issues. 3. Leadership skills to take charge of customer interactions and provide solutions. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. 5. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 6. Proficiency in using customer support software and tools. 7. Experience working in an online customer support role is preferred.
