Job Description - Online Live Chat Manager

Job Description:


TravelCenters of America is seeking a qualified Online Live Chat Manager to join our team in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ. As a Mid-to-Senior Level position, the Online Live Chat Manager will be responsible for managing our online chat platform and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This is a part-time position, requiring a minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage the online chat platform, including responding to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 2. Develop and implement strategies to increase customer engagement and satisfaction through the online chat platform. 3. Monitor chat performance metrics and provide regular reports to the management team. 4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience across all channels. 5. Train and mentor new team members to ensure consistency in customer interactions. 6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in online customer service.


Requirements: 1. 6 years of experience in online customer service or a related field. 2. Independent and driven personality traits to excel in a fast-paced environment. 3. Strong strategic planning and cooperation skills. 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online chat platforms.
