Online Web Chat Assistant

Job Description:

Farmers Insurance Exchange is seeking a part-time Online Web Chat Assistant to join our team in Auckland, New Zealand. As an Associate level position, we are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: - Engage in online web chats with customers to provide support, answer questions, and address concerns - Utilize resources effectively to provide accurate and timely information to customers - Assist customers with navigating our website, making payments, and accessing their accounts - Identify and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution - Keep detailed records of customer interactions and follow up as needed - Collaborate with other team members to improve the overall online customer experience - Stay up to date on company policies, products, and services to provide the best assistance to customers - Utilize planning and problem-solving skills to effectively handle customer inquiries - Leverage data to inform decisions and drive strategic initiatives within the online chat platform

Requirements: - Resourceful and confident personality traits - Strong planning and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment - Proficient in using online chat platforms and basic computer skills - Experience in customer service or a similar role - Visa sponsorship available - Company transportation and equipment provided
