Job Description:

Biomatters, a leading bioinformatics software company, is seeking a Remote Support Associate to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This is a part-time position with entry-level seniority, perfect for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide remote technical support to customers using Biomatters software products. 2. Troubleshoot software issues and provide solutions in a timely and efficient manner. 3. Communicate effectively with customers via phone, email, or chat to resolve their queries. 4. Collaborate with the development team to escalate complex technical issues when necessary. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow company guidelines for support protocols. 6. Participate in product training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest software features and updates.

Requirements: 1. Confident and resilient personality traits to handle customer inquiries effectively. 2. Creativity and leadership skills to think outside the box and provide innovative solutions. 3. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a remote team environment. 4. Technical proficiency with bioinformatics software is a plus, but not required. 5. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
