Job Description - Support Manager

Job Description:


General Mills is seeking a part-time Support Manager to join our team in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. We are looking for a dynamic individual with at least 6 years of experience in a support management role. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of support staff and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our support systems.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage a team of support staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. 2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the support team. 3. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of support services. 4. Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 5. Respond to escalated support requests and ensure timely resolution of customer issues. 6. Conduct regular performance reviews with support staff and provide feedback and coaching as needed. 7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external. 8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in support management.


Requirements: 1. 6+ years of experience in a support management role. 2. Resourceful and passionate individual with a strong commitment to customer service. 3. Excellent people management and communication skills. 4. Strong research skills to identify and implement best practices. 5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 6. Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
