Job Description - Support Manager

Job Description:


Hormel Foods is seeking an experienced and confident Support Manager to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the support team, ensuring that all customer inquiries and issues are handled efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities: 1. Lead and manage a team of support staff, providing direction, guidance, and support as needed. 2. Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the support team. 3. Handle escalated customer inquiries and issues, providing resolution in a timely and professional manner. 4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Monitor and analyze support metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 6. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to support staff. 7. Coordinate training and development opportunities for support team members. 8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


Requirements: 1. At least 7 years of experience in a customer support or related role. 2. Strong leadership and people management skills. 3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 4. Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently. 5. Knowledge of CRM systems and support tools. 6. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
