Job Description - Support Manager - Work from home

Job Description:


Synnex is seeking a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to join our team on a part-time basis, working from home in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. As a Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of support staff, providing guidance, motivation, and ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered at all times.


Responsibilities: - Manage a team of support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Set clear goals and objectives for the support team and monitor progress towards achieving them - Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention - Handle escalated customer issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner - Analyze support metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure a seamless customer experience - Lead by example and foster a positive and inclusive work environment - Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in customer support


Requirements: - 6+ years of experience in a support or customer service role - Proven experience managing a team of support staff - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment - Resilient and adaptable to changing priorities - Excellent problem-solving skills - Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
