Web Chat Associate - Work from home

Responsibilities:

- Engage with customers through web chat to provide assistance with inquiries, issues, and support related to WEC Energy Group products and services. - Utilize critical thinking skills to evaluate customer needs and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. - Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all interactions with customers to ensure a positive experience. - Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex customer issues and escalations. - Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers. - Meet performance goals and metrics related to customer satisfaction, response time, and resolution rates. - Document all customer interactions and follow up as needed to ensure customer satisfaction. - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding customer privacy and data security.

Requirements:

- 2 years of experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a web chat or remote setting. - Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with customers in a written format. - Resourceful and energetic personality with a positive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement. - Ability to think critically and analyze customer needs to provide appropriate solutions. - Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced work environment. - Proficiency in using web chat platforms and other customer support software. - Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. - High-speed internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free work environment for remote work.
