Web Chat Officer

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Web Chat Officer to join our team at Harman International Industries in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Web Chat Officer will be responsible for engaging with customers through web chat to provide excellent customer service and support.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products and services through web chat - Offer product recommendations and assistance with online orders - Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner - Escalate complex inquiries to appropriate departments for resolution - Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards customers at all times - Meet and exceed performance metrics related to customer satisfaction and response time - Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies

Requirements: - 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field - Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task effectively - Presentation and persuasion skills to engage with customers effectively - Reliable and dedicated work ethic - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency with computer software and web chat platforms - Flexible availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
