Remote Web Chat Representative

Job Description:

We are looking for a Remote Web Chat Representative to join our team at Alaska Air Group. As a part-time Associate Level position based in Dunedin, Otago, NZ, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in customer service and a strong background in web-based communication.

Responsibilities: 1. Engage with customers through web chat to answer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service. 2. Utilize strategic planning to assess customer needs and provide personalized solutions. 3. Demonstrate attention to detail in accurately documenting customer interactions and following through on commitments. 4. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and improve overall customer satisfaction. 5. Meet and exceed performance metrics related to response time, customer satisfaction ratings, and issue resolution.

Requirements: 1. Reliable and resilient personality traits to thrive in a fast-paced remote work environment. 2. Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to various customer personalities and communication styles. 3. Demonstrated strategic planning skills to effectively prioritize and manage a high volume of customer inquiries. 4. Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and follow-up on customer interactions. 5. Experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or web-based setting. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve department goals.
