Remote Web Chat Representative

Job Description:

Meridian Energy is seeking a Remote Web Chat Representative to join our dynamic team in Nelson, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level position, the Remote Web Chat Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat services. This role requires a minimum of 4 years of experience in a customer service or similar role.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner through web chat - Assist customers with account inquiries, technical issues, billing questions, and general support - Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers - Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction - Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and escalate issues as needed - Meet or exceed key performance indicators related to customer satisfaction and response times - Stay up-to-date on product and service offerings to provide accurate information to customers

Requirements: - Hardworking and adaptable personality traits - Strong communication and planning skills - 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field - Ability to work independently and remotely - Proficiency with online chat platforms and customer relationship management software - Excellent typing skills and attention to detail - High school diploma or equivalent required - Fluency in English
