Remote Web Chat Specialist

Job Description:

As a Remote Web Chat Specialist at Macy's, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service through online chat support. You will assist customers with inquiries, product recommendations, order processing, and issue resolution. This position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities: - Engage with customers through online chat to provide assistance and support - Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner - Provide product recommendations and information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions - Process orders and returns accurately and efficiently - Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and ensure a positive shopping experience - Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and concerns - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies and procedures - Meet and exceed performance metrics and goals set by the company

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in customer service or a related field - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Hardworking and detail-oriented - Persuasion skills to effectively communicate with customers - Ability to uphold ethical conduct and integrity in all interactions - Proficiency in using chat support software and other relevant tools - Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings and weekends
