Community Rehabilitation Physiotherapist – Part time

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Zealand Registered Experienced Physiotherapist to join our Community Rehabilitation team: a progressive, specialist, interdisciplinary service for assessment and rehabilitation for adults within Te Toka Tumai’s Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate. We are a team of OTs, PTs, SLTs and Psychologists, who provide intensive, evidence-based and individualised rehabilitation, primarily for people discharging from hospital following a recent medical event and significant change in level of function.
We are a supportive team of professionals providing high quality rehabilitation input for the Auckland community. We have a strong inter-disciplinary focus and value collaborative working. We deliver rehabilitation in a flexible, client centred way in the community, clients home, our clinic / gym, telehealth, and in groups settings.
This permanent, part-time role based at Greenlane Clinical Centre or Kahui Marino (Point Chevalier Clinical Centre) allows you the opportunity to be part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team with strong professional support to enable you to optimise both your profession’s specific practice and a community health focus
As a member of our team, you work with adults of all ages to enable them to progress towards their rehabilitation goals. You will gain clinical experience with a wide variety of neurological conditions including stroke and post-neurological surgery, as well as amputees and orthopaedic conditions.
This could also be an ideal role for a physiotherapist who would like to return to practice.

The remuneration for this position is covered by a collective agreement (PSA Allied, Public Health Scientific Technical MECA)
Salary Range: Step 1 $70,842 to Step 10 $109,000 depending on experience
