National Technical Manager - Part-Time

We have an opportunity for a National Technical Manager. This is a key role working across our seven offices in Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Hastings, Wellington and Christchurch, as well as our national board. The role will ideally be based in Auckland, although we would consider applicants from other locations. The purpose of this role is to provide quality technical advice on accounting, auditing and professional ethical standards and regulatory changes to our partners and staff.

Previous experience working in a technical role is highly desirable, preferably within a CA firm. We are looking for someone who has the drive and passion to stay up-to-date on emerging legislative and professional standards and to take the lead on a broad range of projects, including AML reviews, internal office reviews and ethical training sessions. It will be advantageous for you to have the following:

• A qualification as a CA or CPA
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CA firm
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and PBE Standards
• Understanding of key systems including Xero, APS, CaseWare, EDMS, Adobe Acrobat and Excel
