The Media Lab – Associate  
This is a part-time role based at our office on Cuba St, Wellington for students currently studying, and will be studying in 2024.
We are offering a role that requires 15 hours/week over three to four days as a paid position. We are willing to be reasonably flexible so that the candidate can work around existing lectures and tutorials.
Our Company: The Media Lab. We’re a digital marketing and media firm that specialises in Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s).  We are a Wellington-based company set up by two former advertising execs;  Antony Young and Matt McNeil.
The Associate will need to be curious, have a can-do approach and a ton of initiative. You will also need to have a passion for content creation, as well as a basic level of skill with numbers. We expect them to be competent in social media channels and be able to apply their marketing studies and other skills into practical application. An interest in Māori communications is also a plus!
We will provide the necessary training, but the Associate will be a quick learner, able to communicate well and professionally with a manager, super organised and bring and convey their own ideas. 
Responsibilities include:

• Managing social media channels for clients.  Facebook & Instagram but also LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tik Tok and other channels that emerge over time. Using Facebook ads manager, LinkedIn campaign manager, and Google Marketing Platforms to implement social campaigns.
• Analysing Google Analytics and social media metrics for insight and analysis.
• Working with software tools to build websites and social pages.
• Creating social content: posts, blogs, images, video.
• Planning and buying advertising media campaigns.
• Writing email newsletters.
• Reporting campaign insights and performance.
• Working with the team to generate overall communications strategies and execution for our clients.
• Working closely with the Business Manager  to ensure appropriate resource for a sustainable, high quality, growing work flow.
• Ongoing client relationship management
