Job Description:
PowerbyProxi is seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team and work remotely from Nelson, Nelson, NZ. As an Associate Level PR professional with at least 2 years of experience, you will play a key role in shaping and executing our public relations strategies and campaigns.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company's reputation and visibility - Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, and other communications materials - Cultivate relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers - Monitor and analyze media coverage - Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and other PR events - Manage social media channels and engage with followers - Assist in crisis communication and reputation management efforts - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure PR efforts align with overall marketing goals - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PR
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field - 2+ years of experience in PR or communications - Dedicated and resourceful mindset - Strong teamwork and leadership skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and remotely - Proficiency in using PR tools and platforms - Knowledge of media relations and PR best practices - A strategic thinker with a creative approach to PR campaigns
