Remote Communications Specialist

Job Description:

Genesis Energy is currently seeking a part-time Remote Communications Specialist to join our team in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in communications or a related field. The Remote Communications Specialist will be responsible for creating and executing communication strategies to engage with external stakeholders and promote the company's brand.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication plans to support company initiatives and projects - Write and edit content for press releases, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels - Manage relationships with external partners, media outlets, and industry associations - Coordinate and lead communication campaigns, events, and initiatives - Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns - Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to identify new communication opportunities

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience with social media management and digital marketing - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Resilient and confident personality traits - Excellent presentation and project management skills - A passion for storytelling and engaging with diverse audiences
