Communications Specialist - Work from home

Job Description:

ConocoPhillips is currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Communications Specialist to work from home in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand. This part-time entry-level position is perfect for individuals who are looking to gain experience in the communications field.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement communication strategies to effectively reach internal and external stakeholders - Write and edit internal and external communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, and social media content - Coordinate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and branding - Monitor media coverage and track communication metrics - Assist in organizing events, meetings, and conferences - Act as a liaison between the company and the media, responding to inquiries and requests for information - Collaborate with colleagues to identify communication opportunities and trends - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communications

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent presentation and negotiation skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Previous experience in communications or a related field is a plus, but not required
