Job Description:

Mutual of Omaha Insurance is seeking a talented Remote Content Writer to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As a part-time Associate Level writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content for our digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in content writing and possess a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities: - Write and edit content for various digital platforms including websites, social media, and email campaigns - Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to ensure content is relevant and up-to-date - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content strategies and plans - Optimize content for SEO to improve organic search rankings - Stay up-to-date on industry news and trends to ensure content is timely and relevant - Proofread and edit content for accuracy and consistency

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field - 4+ years of experience in content writing - Strong understanding of SEO best practices - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Adaptable and energetic personality traits - Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems
