Job Description:

Berkshire Hathaway is seeking a dedicated and independent Online PR Associate to join our team in Auckland, NZ. This is a part-time, entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the field of public relations. As an Online PR Associate, you will be responsible for managing the company's online presence, creating engaging content, and developing relationships with online media outlets.

Responsibilities: 1. Manage the company's online presence through social media platforms, website content, and email campaigns. 2. Create and distribute press releases, blog posts, and other written materials to promote the company and its initiatives. 3. Research online media outlets and identify opportunities for coverage and partnerships. 4. Monitor and analyze online trends, feedback, and engagement to optimize PR strategies. 5. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure messaging is aligned across all digital channels. 6. Support the development and execution of PR campaigns and initiatives. 7. Assist with event planning and execution, both online and in-person. 8. Contribute to the development of PR strategies and goals.

Requirements: 1. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 2. Excellent project management abilities. 3. Research skills to identify online media opportunities. 4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. 5. Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices. 6. Basic understanding of public relations principles. 7. A proactive and creative mindset. 8. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field (preferred but not required).
