Pr Associate

Job Description:

Lansing Trade Group is currently seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team in Nelson, NZ. As an Associate Level PR professional with at least 3 years of experience, you will play a key role in supporting the company's public relations efforts. We are looking for an energetic and driven individual who excels in building relationships and communicating effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company's reputation - Write press releases, pitches, and other messaging materials - Maintain and cultivate relationships with media contacts - Monitor media coverage and track effectiveness of PR campaigns - Assist in organizing and executing events, press conferences, and other PR activities - Collaborate with internal teams to align PR efforts with overall marketing objectives - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' PR activities

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field - 3+ years of experience in public relations or corporate communications - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment - Proven track record of securing media placements and building relationships with journalists - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and PR software tools - Energetic and driven personality traits - Soft skills in persuasion and cooperation
