Remote Pr Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Remote PR Associate to join our team at Viacom in Wellington, New Zealand. As a remote PR Associate, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive image of Viacom through various media channels, as well as supporting the overall PR strategy and initiatives.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the visibility of Viacom in the market. 2. Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials. 3. Coordinate and manage media relations, including pitching stories to journalists and influencers. 4. Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR performance. 5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand image. 6. Assist in organizing and coordinating events, press conferences, and interviews.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, or related field. 2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, preferably in the media or entertainment industry. 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 4. Independent and energetic, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting. 5. Persuasion skills and project management experience. 6. Proficient in social media platforms and PR tools. 7. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. 8. Experience working with media contacts and influencers.
