Pr Associate - Work from home

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a part-time PR Associate to join our team at Huntington Ingalls Industries. This is a work-from-home position based in Wellington, Wellington, NZ, and ideal for individuals with at least 2 years of experience in public relations or a related field.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance the company's public image - Write press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and coordinate interviews - Manage social media accounts and engage with followers - Monitor and analyze media coverage - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging - Participate in crisis communication management - Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders - Assist in organizing events and press conferences

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field - Proven experience in PR, preferably in a corporate setting - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines - Resilient and motivated personality traits - Proficiency in people management and decision-making - Knowledge of digital marketing and social media best practices
