We are on the lookout for an influential Accounts Manager to join our growing team at Nelson Alarms Security Systems Ltd in Tahunanui, Tasman.

We are Nelson’s number-one Security company, with a top team of specialist security professionals.  We are looking for our next Accounts Manager, who would work closely with our Operations Team to invoice the work we do for our amazing clients.

This is a busy, diverse role, collaborating with the management team, across all departments.

The Role

This role is all about debtor invoicing and keeping the cashflow coming in. Tasks include:

  • Preparing and sending invoices, progress claims and statements.
  • Working closely with the Operations Manager and Scheduler to ensure invoices and compliance documentation is clear for clients.
  • Providing monthly reports for Directors.
  • Working alongside Rachel, who heads up Creditors, to ensure efficiency in our Accounts department, across hundreds of jobs per month.

 

Skills that will help you be successful in this role

  • Good Initiative, accuracy, being process orientated and reliable are the first key attributes needed for this new role.
  • Experience in accounts and Xero.
  • Consistent output of quality work.
  • A calm and professional attitude.
  • Being a true team player, and being able to adapt to best support the team.
  • Excellent customer service, phone manner and written communication skills.
  • Knowing your way around a computer and being able to learn new applications.

 

The Business

As a Nelson Alarms employee, you will be working for a locally owned and operated business, focused on delivering high quality service to businesses and home owners in the Top of the South region. 

Our work comprises of both residential and commercial projects, including maintenance, new installations as well as upgrades of security systems, CCTV, access control, video intercoms, automated gates and a whole lot more!  

We are known for our excellent levels of customer service and ability to fix problems that others can’t.

We are looking for someone to add value to our awesome operations team.  You’ll be working directly with our amazing Scheduler, Linda, to streamline customer enquiry and assist our Operations team.  This is a busy, varied role, working amongst a fun, supportive team.
