About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
We are seeking a Property & Tenancy Administrator to provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to Housing First housing operations. This role focuses on:
Lodging and recovering tenancy bonds
Coordinating property inspections
Maintaining accurate tenancy records
Supporting strong, professional relationships with property owners
Duties | Mahi
Tenancy Bonds (Primary Focus)
Lodge tenancy bonds accurately and within required timeframes through Tenancy Services
Manage bond refunds at the end of tenancies, liaising with tenants, property owners, and Tenancy Services
Track bond status and follow up on outstanding or disputed bonds
Maintain accurate bond records and supporting documentation
Property Inspections & Administration
Coordinate exit property inspections and schedule with property owners
Record outcomes, follow up maintenance or compliance issues
Maintain tenancy records and manage correspondence
Prepare reports as required and ensure compliance with privacy and tenancy legislation
Stakeholder & Team Support
Act as key administrative contact for property owners
Support professional, positive relationships through timely and clear communication
Provide administrative support to the wider housing team
