Assistant Programme Manager - Papatoetoe Central

As an Assistant Programme Manager, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the mornings & afternoons unforgettable for children. This role has a minimum contracted hours of 10 per week. You’ll be working mainly around the After school hours (2.45pm - 5pm) with some before school shifts when required (7am - 8.30am). The role is located in Papatoetoe Central.

• Bring the fun! Supervise and support tamariki through a mix of exciting, safe activities every day 
• Team up with your Programme Manager to run awesome sessions that keep kids buzzing with energy 
• Be the extra set of eyes and ears – spotting any wellbeing, behaviour, or safety hiccups and making sure everyone feels supported 
• Connect with parents and schools, keeping communication warm and positive 
• Be a team player – jump in to help your crew and make the programme run smoothly

We’d love to hear from you if you: 

• Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship) 
• Can get to sites around (insert) – optional  
• Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts! 
• Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special 
• Have proven experience running before and after school programmes is a big plus 
• Are a confident communicator – you’ll be the key link between sKids and parents 
• Are over the age of 20 years old, in order to comply with Social Security (Childcare Assistance) Regulations 2004
