Build-A-Bear Workshop, the world's leading make-your-own-stuffed-animal retailer concept, at Northlands Shopping Centre, Christchurch. 

We are looking for a  Assistant Store Manager  to join our team.

  • You are a  Assistant Manager with great mentoring and coaching skills and the ability to inspire their team.
  • You have 1 + years Retail Store Management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are passionate about all things KIDDIES with great visual merchandising and styling skills.
  • You are ambitious to accelerate your career and take on your next challenge
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • You are passionate about delivering AMAZING customer experiences
  • You are looking for a dynamic, busy and fun work environment where no two days are the at Northlands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES….

  • Drive sales result to smash budgets and targets- take your store to the next level!
  • Coach and develop a high-performing team and ensure they have the tools and motivation to achieve their goals
  • Assist with recruitment, on-boarding and training of new team members
  • Ensure store operations and retail standards are implemented and maintained
  • Manage stock deliveries and merchandising the store
  • Complete monthly rosters and ensure they are costed within hours budget.
