Expression of Interest – Permanent Full-Time OR Part-Time Bus Driver Roles (Waiheke Island)

We are pleased to invite expressions of interest from our current Summer Crew Bus Drivers who would like to be considered for a permanent, full-time OR part-time Bus Driver position based on Waiheke Island.

This is a great opportunity to transition from a fixed-term role into a secure, long-term position while continuing to do what you already do best—delivering safe, reliable and friendly transport to our passengers.

About the Role

As a semi-rural Bus Driver, you’ll continue to be the face of our service—interacting with friendly locals and holiday-goers while enjoying the island lifestyle and the stunning scenery Waiheke has to offer.

Each day provides the opportunity to:

• Deliver excellent customer service


• Provide a safe, welcoming and professional passenger experience


• Operate scheduled urban services, with some charter and transfer work when available

This is a permanent, full-time OR part-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week for full-time, based on Waiheke Island.

This opportunity is open to current fixed-term bus drivers who already meet (or continue to meet) our operational requirements, including:

• A full, clean Class 2 driver licence


• A current Passenger (P) endorsement


• Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with passengers and colleagues


• A patient, customer-focused approach


• A strong safety mindset

Roster & Location

• This is a rostered role, which includes early starts, late finishes, weekends and public holidays


• Waiheke based location, operating from WBC
