Job Description - Business Development Manager

Guides the sales process for a large/dense region and organizes and strategizes a crowded and vetted schedule of sales calls and presentations on a daily basis aiming to expand the sales portfolio, target high yielding, high risk accounts and proactively beating competitors to major accounts so as not to waste time or resources.

Utilizes an expansive internal and external network, a formidable list of leads, strong industry or market credibility and insights derived from proximity to the region or industry to gain business from a large/dense region or a industry in alignment with internal priorities.

Mainly interacts with senior level stakeholders to nurture and grow relationships and possesses wide discretion to take action pertaining to developing accounts or relationships consistent with operating policies.

Guides market research for a specific industry or region utilizing an advanced awareness of internal priorities, market or industry specialization and an extensive knowledge of business products and offerings and the competitive environment and to guide the identification of potential business opportunities.

Formulates exhaustive due diligence reports containing complex and nuanced financial analyses, and detailed market/product insights in response to a complex or priority request for proposal .

May independently author stewardship reports to document positive business contributions for accounts and marketing purposes.

Plans major marketing plan for various business offerings and concepts directed at a large/dense region or an entire industry to broaden exposure and generate interest as informed by specialization expertise.

Organizes, attends, speaks and presents at relevant industry conferences, prepares and presents feasibility studies and is a prominent, contributing member of relevant professional organizations and societies to expand and maintain a large professional network, gain exposure and represent the Company and it's offerings.
