Asthma and Respiratory Management

What we do:

If you have a respiratory condition and live in the Bay of Plenty, we provide assessment, education and support for FREE!

Support: Medication reviews, monitoring progress, assessing response to treatment and more.

Assessment: Lung function testing, diagnosis with spirometry and/or FeNO testing by qualified, experienced respiratory nurses.

Education: We provide education talks to schools, Marae, GP clinics and more, for both groups and individuals.

Rehab: We have an onsite gym with specialised classes for confirmed respiratory illnesses facilitated by a physiotherapist.

We have clinics throughout the Bay of Plenty from Katikati to Whakatane.

Our main clinic is based in Greerton Tauranga.

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a confident, motivated, person to lead our team as Centre manager at Asthma and Respiratory Management.

Leadership will be critical in this role providing support and guidance working alongside our nurse team, to operate in a collaborative and future focused manner, continually working to improve and grow our service.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Leadership and management experience in a similar role preferred 
• A positive and collaborative work style
• A passion and commitment to improving health outcomes
• Fostering a culture of high performance and team Knowledge in HR processes and procedures
• Leading the implementation of strategic objectives for the clinic to deliver quality care to patients.
• Participating (including reporting) in committee meetings.
• Strong people focus and cultural awareness.
• Be competent in financial management and reporting (Xero proficient or similar accounting program preferred)
• Experience using context specific software. (Medtech) is preferable
• Knowledge in grant application processes a bonus

To be eligible for this role you must be currently fully vaccinated, or prepared to be fully vaccinated prior to starting
