Job Description - Clinical Advisor, GP Registrar and New NP Support

Clinical Advisor, GP Registrar and New NP Support


Location: Multiple Locations


FTE: 0.2



Do you have a passion for developing and supporting the general practice workforce? Are you will be a General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner with current or recent primary care experience? If so we would love to hear from you!  


 


WellSouth is committed to achieving high quality equitable health outcomes in Otago and Southland. One of our core objectives is to retain, support and build the workforce. We are seeking a motivated GP or NP to help us design and implement our package of support for GP registrars in training (GPEP 2,3 and 3+) and nurse practitioners new to working in general practice (first year NPs and NPs new to primary care).  The role aims to complement the existing support and training provided by training institutions, and RNZCGP.



This is a 0.2 FTE role, based with the Southern district, and you will need to be able to travel from time to time.
