Te Kāhui Tātari Ture | Criminal Cases Review Commission (Te Kāhui) reviews potential miscarriages of justice and refers appropriate cases back to the appeal courts. Te Kāhui will also undertake outreach and education and from time to time, undertake inquiries into systemic issues found during investigations.
Te angitū: The opportunity
As our corporate administrator you will provide seamless coordination and administrative support to Te Kāhui. The role is varied, but will include inputting applications into our Case Management System, managing in and outbound mail and freight, scanning, filing and the management of documentation received and other data entry. You’ll also help to load invoices into Xero, monitor group email inboxes, escalating communications as appropriate and to support the wider team with their mahi. This role does involve viewing case material from a variety of criminal convictions.
This is a 30 hour per week position working from our office in Kirikiriroa | Hamilton between Monday and Friday, with a generous flexible working policy.

As part of Te Kāhui, you’ll show a high level of cultural competency, ensuring respect and understanding to all cultures. An ability to speak te reo Māori and/or a Pacific Peoples language (or a willingness to learn) would be a distinct advantage.
