Day Stay Registered Nurse - Fixed Term - Part-Time

About the role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our busy Day Stay Unit team (including Endoscopy Unit), 48 hours per fortnight (Maternity Leave Cover).  You will be required to work shifts dependent on the requirements of the unit.  Our Day Stay Unit currently operates between 7.00am – 8.30pm Monday to Friday.

About you

• Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand Annual Practicing Certificate
• Three years minimum experience
• Endoscopy nursing experience preferred.
• Patient focused
• Excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Able to take direction, while also being a confident decision maker
• The ability to work with modern and changing IT programmes/ technology
• A team player with the resilience to work within a fast-paced team environment
• Professional, supportive and open communicator with brilliant people and listening skills
