Delivery Driver - Continuous Learning Opportunities - Part-Time

Our brand was the first to bring Fairtrade bananas to New Zealand. Founders Chris & Matt Morrison, and Simon Coley started the business in 2010 with the goal of producing ethical plant-based food and drinks, while giving back to the growers. Fast forward to 2024 and we now have a range of oat milks to add to our product portfolio. Providing premium quality, food and drink and making a difference to the lives of producers is what drives our business.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable person to deliver our Oat Milk around the Wellington area. This is a part time role of 24 hours per week.  The candidate must have a clean full drivers licence. Knowledge of the Wellington area is desirable. We are after someone with a positive can-do attitude, world class customer service and ideally previous experience driving vans. You must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong relationships with both the Territory Manager and All Good customers.

The key tasks are:

• Wellington deliveries including management of a daily run schedule.
• Outstanding customer service - you'll be visiting our customers.
• Coordinating with Lower North Island Sales Manager on a daily basis to discuss deliveries, customer interactions, and relevant information. 
• Daily stock collection from our warehouse.
• Loading and unloading of stock.

Days/hours of work:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 to 13:00 with some flexibility needed around busier and quieter days.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST be reliable and responsible, as well as:

• 6-12 months in a delivery driver/customer service role
• Substantial customer service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Decision making and problem-solving skills
• Great attitude, personality and team player! Culture fit is key.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise - we’re not into micro-managing!
• Ability to remain calm, manage stress and work under pressure
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Sound knowledge of the local geography
• A clean full drivers licence and the ability to drive a van (VW Caddy)
• Great housekeeping, maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle that represents the brand
• Practical, you will need to take an active role in ensuring that the vehicle is safe and well maintained
