Otis Oat Milk
Otis was founded in 2018 with enthusiasm at the prospect of doing good for both people and the planet.
From tiny batches of NZ’s first homegrown oat milk, delivered by hand, to a burgeoning favourite in the plant-based category – we now supply hundreds of cafes, offices, and grocery stores throughout the country (& the world!). As we start our exciting next stage of growth, we are looking for an addition to our small team to focus specifically on ensuring we don’t run out oat milk as we launch into a second growth phase.
What we are looking for:
Due to anticipated growth, we are searching for a talented part time demand & production planner to ensure the company’s overall order to cash processes are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. The role is work from home, but the person must be in Auckland. The hours per day are flexible but require consistency.
In conjunction with the Sales Team, you will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future product demand as well as planning all current and future finished goods purchase needs. This includes overseeing raw material ordering and working closely with our contract manufacturer.
The role also plans and books deliveries into our two 3PL’s with in NZ and co-ordinates production for our growing export base. In addition, the role also ensures smooth operation of our 3PL’s including delivery to both customers and consumers.
To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have holistic understanding of the overall order to cash process and therefore be familiar with Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing and Integrations between systems including B2B & B2C platforms. There is opportunity for the role to be expanded further with the addition of some accounts receivables duties that include bank reconciliations into both Xero and Cin7.

This role requires you to regularly visit both our contract manufacture & 3PL sites in Auckland to have in person meetings. You will oversee key aspects as we transition through scaling production and commencing supply into numerous export markets. You therefore need to have a vehicle to travel between the two sites in East Auckland.
