Financial Accountant (Part-time Hours) - Positive Work Culture

We are looking for a self motivated individual to join our tight knit Accounts team and provide an excellent level of support to our Finance team, as well as other areas of the business where your scope of responsibility would overlap.

The Accountant role, encompasses a range of duties and responsibilities including such as:

• Oversight of Accounts Payable - checking and posting invoices and cash receipts, obtaining authorisation, and approving payments
• Oversight and back up for Accounts Receivables and daily website sales
• Asset and inventory management – creating assets and inventory in accounts, conducting stock takes, liaising with 3PL warehouses
• Assisting in monitoring and reporting on cash flow and liquidity. 
• Assisting and supporting Management as needed, along with other responsibilities as requested

As the ideal candidate Must have an Accounting degree, ideally ACA or CA qualified or working towards this. You will also possess skills and qualities, which include (but are not limited to):

• Ability to analyse and communicate financial information. 
• Sound knowledge of organisational accounting procedures. 
• Developing skills within financial/management accounting principles. 
• Computer literacy - with a sound knowledge of accounting software and spreadsheet programmes
• Experience in multi-currency
• Good communicator - written and verbal

It is a varied position and can be busy at times, so you will need to be comfortable with managing your time and work priorities. The busy work environment also means you would have great organisational skills. At Serato we highly value team players who are reliable.

This role is set as 'Part Time' and we have considered that the hours may vary from 25 to 30hrs each week. However, we are open to discussion about what the hours may look like each week with candidates, to give candidates the opportunity to decide if this arrangement might suit.
