The Garden Lady operates a small, friendly team across the Franklin/Pukekohe area providing quality garden maintenance to homes and businesses alike. 

About The Role 

We currently have a casual vacancy for an, energetic, experienced Gardener, to join our small friendly team . 

The position covers all aspects of garden maintenance, ranging from delicate flower beds to more involved gardens and public areas.

Daily duties will include but not be limited to: 

• Undertaking garden maintenance services across multiple sites including , weeding, planting, pruning, sweeping, and other gardening as required

Ideally, the position will be for 3 days a week and 7 hours per day (dependent on demand and weather), beginning at 7.30 am. Monday - Friday (a little later in winter), with no weekend work. 

About You

You must enjoy gardening and working outdoors in ALL types of weather. as well as having a positive and professional work ethic and: 

• Your own reliable car
• Understand that we are a smokefree workplace
• Be punctual and reliable 
• Must have full New Zealand working rights or permanent residency
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment 
• Intermediate plant knowledge/identification skills
• Have excellent time management skills and attention to detail. 
• Be handy with tools, a horticultural, landscaping, gardening or trade background beneficial, but not essential.
• Be aware that this role can be physically demanding so a good level of physical strength and fitness is expected as well as some heavy lifting 
• That you must have a current Police check or be willing to obtain one.
