No lengthy assessments and complex therapy plans; no caseloads. Provide whānau supoort via brief, targeted therapeutic interventions in and alongside of your GP clinic health team.
We are looking for people with a strong understanding of cultural safety who are motivated to support whānau with a range of needs. Some experience in talking therapies is preferred.
This is an exciting role where you will be trained and supported to offer a diverse and impactful range of wellness support from the General Practice Clinic, or virtually as might be required. You will work alongside of whānau to help them build knowledge, skills and confidence to positively engage in their hauora journey. The role primarily utilises Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (FACT) brief assessment and intervention. You will be a part of a team where a range of health and social interventions are offered.
